Looking for security/locking module - LJE2600AC/XXX

I have a 2004 Jaguar XK8 that was partially flooded and I am looking for an electric piece that has been damaged and I cannot find a replacement. The car was bought in the USA.

The piece is LJE2600AC/XXX and it is a security/locking module.

Any help on where I can find this part would be very helpful!

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum niramana18,

The SCLM is no longer available from Jaguar (and was a frightening cost) so it won't be available through dealers and the major aftermarket parts specialists are also showing zero stock. This leaves you with the options of sourcing a used one from a breaker and getting it programmed to your vehicle or using a module repair service. I'd go for the repair option and US based members in XK8/XKR forum will be able to advise on recommended repairers.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

I (wrongly) assumed you were in the USA until you added your location. As I had a breakdown in northern Spain in my XK last September, I know Jaguar expertise in the country is restricted.

This ebay.es listing for a module repairer in California who will ship internationally could work out to be a low cost option if you can't find anything nearer:

It's important to have the last 3 digits of the part number XXX
Look in the boot for the VCATS label to get the suffix LJE2600AC/XXX.

Model years and Coupe/Conv will matter to get the suffix correct.

Repairing the original is the safest way to get the correct functioning module.
Make sure a used replacement has the same suffix.

Try Jagbits for the part. They are expensive, Direct Autoparts 281-971-3189 or do as I do hit the junk yards,
