Need info on CPO from 2004
 

I'm involved with a legal matter concerning my 04 XJ8 VDP. If anybody has the rules & regs of what made my car a Cert Pre Owned when purchased in 07 it would really help me out. I love the car and need your help.

From my earlier reading about the CPO scheme, I recall the precise terms and conditions of the of the limited warranty and service coverage are down to the authorized Jaguar Retailer supplying the vehicle and not a set standard contract laid down by Jaguar.

What, specifically, are you looking for? I can give you limited info, based on my current employment by Jaguar, but will look for any info that might be helpful...

I'm looking for the rules and regs of what qualified my car to be CPO in 2007 when I bought the 2004 XJ8 VDP. I know they change year to year but I need what qualified it back in 2007.

There's a list of items that have to be inspected before it will qualify.

You ARE talking about Select Edition, right?
