I have two of these plugs... one on each side of car near the bonnet latches. they have 2 wires going to them and caps with 2 rubber plugs but dont attach to anything.... anyone know that they are for??

 

You'll find unused connectors scattered around the car for lower- or higher-spec cars or different countries. Just ignore them.

Or, for each, pore over the workshop manual etc...

 

I think have solved the plug issue. A check of the electrical charts ( not easy to understand !) and i think the 2 plugs have to do with the electrically adaptive shocks, which my car does not have... at least that is what I came up with.
