i-Pace 1/4 mile ET guess?
An Aussie mag review clocked the i-Pace at 0-100mph taking 10.99 seconds.
This is very, very close to a high 12 second quarter mile at about 108 mph. At the beginning of this century, the 12 second ET was the bar for defining what 'fast' really was.
First one to 12 seconds wins!!!!

The quarter was about as I'd expect, but the rolling race was interesting. Now my question is how much of that performance is software and how much is engine. Tesla's are famous for overheating on race tracks while the Jaguar doesn't suggesting it is set up more conservatively. But, and we'll likely see this in performance versions, I wonder if you could crank up the power with software much like Tesla does with their performance modes? I guess we'll see once we get them but give their 8 year 100K warranty I'm likely not going to be the guy that tries this himself (don't want to void that puppy particularly on a gen 1 car).
