What is the best treatment for Connolly Autolux Leather?

Hello all,

I know this is a tired question, and a subjective one, like car oil, but I bought some new seats for my XJS made out of new old stock Connolly Autolux leather, and I know that different leathers are made and dyed with different processes thru the years.

I have been looking around and it seems that some believe that Connolly's own hide food is not necessarily the best thing for some of their hides since it eventually breaks down the top color. Some people believe for certain vintages of leather, leatherique is also not the best option. Some people say that the Lexol is the best for some leathers because it's very thin and can go thru whatever top coat the leather has.

Does anyone here have an opinion on what works best on new Connolly Autolux leather?
