Hi

does anybody have types, datasheets, wiring diagrams (also connector pin information) and vacuum diagram for the "new" type 5.0L supercharger available? This supercharger has electrical bypass as seen in the attached photo

background; I was not paying too much attention (as usual :icon_smash:) and got newer than expected version, might be able to figure out something for the control ...

thanks in advance

Antti

Which car are you putting this supercharger in?

Your signature says you have an XJR6 so are you trying to put this TVS on that? It's not clear what you are trying to do...

indeed i am planning to put the charger in the x300 xjr. like done in Australia already some years ago.

still in beginning of the planning / part sourcing phase, progress speed depends heavily from the wife-work-house renovation trinity....

for the bypass control : most likely the control is PWM controlled stepper, inputs from ECU. Best case scenario is that I can remove the stepper and convert it to conventional vacuum control or make / find some electrical vacuum measurement sensor that can then be used as input for stepper

or then i need to invest in MS which has boost control function via pwm control already that could be adapted for the bypass, IIRC.

On the 5.0 Superchargers, the first couple of years were vacuum controlled.
I have in my possession one of each variant. The valve bodies appear to be interchangeable being that the housings are the same.
