Default About jaguar's cranks

Hi everyone!
Guys who knows how jaguar plant tempers surfaces of cranks? Cementation or currents of high frequency? I mean cranks of 4.2 S/C engine.

The 4.2 cranks are nodular iron/spheroidal graphite cast iron. I believe that the bearing surfaces are induction hardened.
