How to edit old posts?
 

So, on my shooting brake thread, I posted many pics from Photobucket. Later, in Photobucket, I moved those pics to a new album and now the pics are missing in older posts in the shooting brake thread.

I'd like to add those pics back so the thread is complete.

How do I do this?

I'm afraid you can't, the ability to edit older posts was removed some time ago.

If you make a new post in that thread, as you would like the original post to be, I can update it for you. cut-paste like.

When inserting pics in posts you have the options:

1. upload to forum
2. link to online storage (e.g Photobucket)

With option 1 the pics are always there because they are stored on the forum servers.

With option 2, as you've found, if you move or remove the source folder, the link is broken.

My preference always is to upload to the forum.
