Replace MKVII Rear Door Window
 

Have followed all of the steps in the manual but can't seem to get the chrome window frame to free up toward the rear (front part of frame is free). Any ideas or insights on how to complete this would be great. Thank you.

I haven't been able to get the rear door frames out of my MKIX either. I am going to try removing the hardware for the window crank to see if that gives more clearance.

It doesn't seem like it should be necessary, but let me know if that works for you. That's about the only thing I haven't removed!
