2003 Jaguar S-Type 4.2L V8 SALVAGE TITLE Not Currently Running / For Parts or Repair

It's finally time to let this car go. I have owned it for 10 years, and loved every minute of it! I put a lot of time and money into this car, but I finally decided it was time to buy a new one.

It has a Salvage title and is not currently running. I believe the engine and transmission are good, but cannot guarantee it. I was told it needs some new gaskets. Also, it leaks coolant and needs a new coolant tank. I put thousands into this car, but once it stopped working, I bought a new one. It is being sold as-is with no guarantees of any kind. Mileage is approximate. It has over 250,000 miles (mileage listed is approximate since I can't turn on the car to see the actual mileage). It has a rebuilt transmission, which I believe has around 80,000 miles on it. Again, nothing it guaranteed to work here. For all intents and purposes, I'm selling it as a parts car.

Buyer must pick up in Montclair, CA 91763, or make arrangements to have it picked up by a shipper. The battery is completely dead, and the car will not move on it's own, so you'll need to haul it.

The tires appear to be in good shape, and aren't that old. The 2 Falken tires only have around 6k miles on them. Interior is in nice condition. 6 Disc CD changer in trunk. Comes with the main key, plus the valet key.

I loved this car, and took great care of it. The pictures were taken in the rain, sorry. I'm also adding pictures from a few years ago for reference only, so you can see more details, but the car is not guaranteed to be in the same condition as when those pictures were taken.

Feel free to contact me if you want to check out the car in person before purchase.

Also, I have attached the Autocheck report to this listing.

As for why it has a salvaged title, it is because I hit something on the freeway, and it damaged the right control arm, and dented the AC condenser, among a few other things. My insurance totaled out the car, and I opted to keep it and have it repaired. I had my regular Jaguar mechanic install a new control arm, and do some other repairs to get it back on the road. My mechanic actually said that most of the repairs were pretty minor. The main thing was the control arm, which he said didn't really even need to be replaced, but I decided to replace it anyway to be on the safe side.

Registration paid through 5/2019. It is currently in non-op status with the California DMV. For California buyers, no smog cert is provided since it is a salvage vehicle, sold as-is.

Cash only.

I hope that covers everything. If you have any questions, or want to see the car in person, just let me know. Thank you to everyone for a great community that I could turn to for answers over the years!
