Looks like there is a shortage of '95-'97 XJ6 and XJR remote keyfob battery covers, so I decided to use my CAD skills, design and 3D print them. The result you can see in the pictures. Since the covers are 3D printed and not molded like the original ones, they probably are not as strong, but I had to use significant amount of force to brake them. The covers are printed with ABS plastic, the outside is sanded and smoothed out for a nicer finish. The battery cover fits only the remote keyfob as in the pictures. The keyfob in the pictures is not included, only the battery cover is for sale. PM me if you have any questions.
This is the alternate to part offered that uses a small screw to secure it in place. I tool a while but I finally got 40 of these put together and available on eBay. A search for "Jaguar x300 battery cover" brings it up at the top of the list. The kit includes the cover (also printed from ABS), the screw and instructions only. Sorry about the size of the picture, I don't know how to make it smaller.
