Low miles and great condition. Too many cars so I need to thin the herd. Search my name on forum to see the thread about what has been done to it.

This is the first year for this body style XJ6. Ford owned Jag at this time and had greatly increased their reliability and had brought them back to a great style.

This is also the last version that had the legendary AJ16 straight six that is known for its longevity.

This is the Vanden Plas edition which has book matched glossy burled walnut wood, much nicer Connolly (Like Rolls Royce uses) leather and fold down tray tables for those Grey Poupon moments.

For only one year did they make the Vanden Plas in the short wheel base. All the others are long wheel base and not as attractive IMHO. Of course the back seat passengers haven't got as much space....but this is a great drivers car.

It has recent Bilstein shocks, Michelin Tires, urethane rear subframe mounts, rear subframe mount "bridge" from the XJR, replaced diff fluid, brake fluid, oil coolant, partial trans fluid change, water pump, spark plugs and valve cover gasket.

No rust, no dents, no scratches.

A/C works great, Cruise works great.

Wired bluetooth adapter installed and stereo sounds fine.

Custom shift knob and stock piece as well.

Super rare tool kit that fits in the fender is included for full price offers or if I like you...otherwise they are an easy $125 on eBay...

Comes with some spares:
mass Airflow sensor
coils
crank position sensor

Wheels mounted are from the V12 version.
Original wheels are included and are in great shape.
Set of XJR wheels and sway bars can be included for an extra fee.

The bad.

Paint is old. The clear coat has not failed but has that dry look. The horizontal surfaces will need a re clear or repaint at some point. I'd rather have original for as long as possible so didn't do that.

Needs an air-pump for the emissions, ($140 at Napa and 10 mins to install)

Headliner is pinned up.

The memory functions from the key fob and the door switch do not work.



I'd drive it cross country tomorrow and will miss it dearly when it goes.

If you are in an enthusiast household you score extra points and I might give you a friends and family discount. If you are buying this to give to your kid or as a run it into the ground daily I really don't want to sell it to you.
