Rebuilt 2002 XKR oil cooler lines
As some of you may have seen on the interwebs, you can replace the degraded, leaky old rubber hose on your hard lines with new hydraulic hose and save a ton of money (Jaguar wants about $586 for the set of four hoses). I rebuilt a couple of sets of junkyard oil cooler lines and wondering if anyone wants this set, as I don't need two, or if they are going to just get dusty on my shelving for the next ten years ;^) I'm asking $150 (shipping included INCONUS) for the full set which fits a 2002 XKR. These use the stock hard line sections with the old degraded rubber hose sections cut off and replaced with Parker 836 series hydraulic hose good to 300psi and 312 deg F. I TIG welded a bead around the end to hold the hose on with the clamps. The clamps on this set are new, but I would replace with better quality stainless ones before installation, as these are just what I had laying around the shop. Includes new O-rings already installed. you may need to fiddle a bit with the alignments, as the original hose was shaped, but the other set installed fine on my XKR with a bit of adjustment.
