The forum used to be robust and simple. Recent updates may have brought it more in line with social media style but have done nothing for speed or reliability.

Please give me a link to the thread and the post number where you are having a problem uploading.

    Hello Billy,

That would be a good one to put at the end of her last thread. If you want to do that, I'll temporarily open it up again for posts.

It's 00:45 in the morning here and I'm off to bed. I'll see any reply from you in about eight hours.

    Hello Billy,

I've moved RayR's posts to a new thread and closed PrettyBlueFin's thread. Her XKR should definitely be the last vehicle in her thread.

Graham, I just use the my Computer system not anything big deal! I've done this a number of times but I'm not getting through for some reason.....Do I have to start the Photos as a "New Thread" or can I just answer someone with a Photo? Seems that if I want to send someone a Photo during a when it won't go. Seems that I have send Photos both ways thought.......Billy Clyde

If you are using Photobucket for photo storage, this will no longer work as they have now blocked third party hosting unless their users pay an annual fee.

If you are uploading directly from your computer etc, there shouldn't be a problem as nothing has changed on the forum. The only issue that regularly blocks attachments is exceeding filesize limits.

    Which method are you trying?

his ebay seller name is 8RU you can do a copy and paste of this and he will come up:

2 x Jaguar XK8, XKR Clear Side Bumper Reflector Lenses (2 pieces)

i have been using some white tipped led's and so far they are good. they don't show through the lenses and maybe 25% of the time, make the fast blinking sound, but the light blinks like normal ( i guess the sound is a computer chip) I just put LED on my rear plate and it looks so nice. its a bright blue/white...
the lenses took about 3 weeks to reach me....
thank you, will let you know when your mail arrives

PrettyBluefin, As you have noticed, I'm not real good at this computer Stuff......I just get by is about all! You should receive a package about Friday....I got these from the English Performance Lights guy that I told you about.....They are really pretty, I think you will like them. I sent Clear Bulbs and Amber Bulbs and I think the Amber ones look best behind that Crystal Black....You really shouldn't use LED Bulbs on CAMBus cars like ours, as they do all sorts of crazy things (Fast Blinking) and could turn on your "Check Lights" and all sorts of stuff....Use these bulbs as they are made for our Jags...Oh! I've been in contact with Chris the Englishman about my Clear Lens by email but I still can't find him on eBay! Do you know how to find him?

just saw this message because you posted it on your OWN page, instead of mine

the easiest way to get the old R badge off is with WD-40 and some fishing line or dental floss. also need cotton ball and rubbing alcohol
have a towel handy to wipe excess WD-40

spray one shot of WD40 so it gets behind the old R badge and onto the adhesive that holds it on. wipe excess that runs down car...wait 60 seconds, then slide the line or floss behind the badge, use a firm, cutting motion, and you will feel it loosen. dont force it, the spray will loosen it within the minute.

pull badge off. scrape off as much of the old adhesive as possible. clean up with the rubbing alcohol to ensure a clean, oil free surface.

the tricky part is getting the badge on straight. i used a level.
    good luck!
