A car-guy friend, who lives near seller and whose opinion I trust, inspected it. He knew what to look for, and gave it a thorough visual / drive review. I do all my own work, except paint and upholstery, so I didn't bother w/ warranty. In fact, I have been waiting for the price drop following expiration of their warranties. I got a nice one w/ 21K miles. So far the only problem is the glove box cushion drop cable connector was broken. All in all, I'm like everyone else and go out into the garage and just stare at how beautiful it is. That and driving it of course. My last hobby car, 93 300ZX twin turbo, was modded up to about 400 hp, so I'm used to driving a powerful sports car. But the XKR is in a different league entirely.
