Hello! I just got my 2011 Jaguar XJ 5.0 Supersport, after importing the car from Russia. In Russia, the Jaguar dealership performed a complete technical check on the car, and all findings was repaired. But what did obviously didn't check, was the sunroof! The day after i got it (was raining on delivery day), i checked the sunroof - and sadly it was full of corrotion!

My local dealer has offered me a repair of €8000! Should there not be an extensive warranty for this, or at least a severe discount??

    Best regards,
    Andreas Trones

I have been to two dealerships in attempts to solve the meridian rattling issues: I also have a variation of the issue documented here near my glovebox (rattling at certain speeds and when driving over bumps):
These noises are so frustrating. Either I turn my music on and hear the former. Or I turn it off and I hear the latter.

I've gone to Madison County and JLR New Rochelle. After bringing it back and forth multiple times they both eventually gave up and told me there was nothing else they could do. Since bringing it in, I now get the rattling noise by my glovebox with no music at all.

Could you please refer me to a dealership that can definitively solve my problems?

Please check your PM for my contact information.

    Thank you

I was pointed your way while asking for some help.
I have a 2010 xf supercharged with 52 thousand miles that I have had for all of 450 miles. The car had a few minor problems I was addressing but Tuesday I had a failure that the dealership I had it towed to tells me I need to replace all 8 injectors and spark plugs for a total of 8500 . From what I am told was "bad gas used previously". I was supposed to meet at the dealership Monday to get an extended warranty. Didn't get the chance it seems.
I was wondering who to contact to ask if any goodwill was available from jaguar north america to possibly cover the repair, just get the parts needed or anything really.

    Thanks for any help

I am about to take my 2013 xj back in for roof noise. Dealer has had it 3 times and actually has made it worse at this point. The roof was fine for about one year and is now terrible. Any real fixes out for the 2013's?

    Hi Mike,

Sorry for the late response, I was out of town for the past week.

    Here is my info:

When I had tried to get into my car neither of my key fobs worked and I was unable to open the door with the physical key inside of the fob. I called the dealer today (Manhattan Jaguar) and they said I would have to call roadside assistance to have the car towed to them. Not sure how I should proceed at this point. Any help is much appreciated!

    Hi Mike,

I recently reserved a 2015 Firesand F-Type S Coupe here in Abu Dhabi. The dealership has 2 of them. One with silver centrifuge wheels (with firesand stitched interior) and one with black centrifuge wheels (with all black interior).

I am wanting the firesand stitched interior with the black wheels. The dealer says they won't switch the wheels but they will paint the silver wheels black using the same equipment as the factory and it would be covered by warranty.

The wheels are more important to me than the stitching of the interior. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would I be better off sacrificing the stitching for the factory black wheels?

    Thanks in advance!
