What adapter will I need to upgrade my X type from my old radio/cd/heater control to touch screen. There are two connectors to my old unit and one on the back of touch screen. So I need an adapter that plugs into the touch screen with to fittings from my original wiring loom. I have been told this is possible but Ill need this adapter.

...I have no codes or anything (recently had a lambda error caused CEL from entering a little deeper water and getting water on the plug but that should clear by itself), the only mod I have is the caldoofi tube but the rpm was the same prior to installing this. Thank you so much for the help and wish you a great weekend!

Hi JagV8, I hope you are well, we exchanged few posts some time ago when I had issues with my 04 STR it turned out it was the engine harness so I got it out and fixed it using pieces from another. I finally got around to having some more time and I want to tend another issue that persists since I got the car 3.5 yr ago, very low idle RPM, the csr runs fine but the RPM when warm sits at 500-550rpm and that causes oil pressure light to come on when at normal temp and at idle, once it reaches 750rpm the oil light turns off... now my question is there any mechanical adjustment for rpm or what is the procedure to raise by 250. btw just in case you'd ask the gas is only premium (93-95) and only shell ...she doesn't like any other, the fuel filter is replaced about 10k miles ago same with air filter and sparkplugs.

Hi JagV8. I just ran into a trouble with my Jag. Its a 2004 S-type 4.2 Sport with 100k on the clock. Was maintained and all and i was about to sell it too. It just died down on my on the road and wouldn't start. And when it did after alot of tries.. its been mis firing, with weird noise coming from the engine. Diagnosing shows cylinder 6 and 8 are mis firing with and low compression. Any suggestions on how to go around it?

    Hello JagV8
I picked up a Jaguar S-Type Bluetooth Module 2W93-19K350-AC months ago to try to get a way to play music from my phone, I've done a lot of work on my car myself, but I don't have/can't find info on part numbers for items I need to hook it up to my Alpine 6 Cd changer factory radio I don't have Navigation I have been awaiting Veffremovs Bluetooth system but he has had issues with parts and now his site is down, so I'm back to trying to hook this up, I follow instruction real good, but is there any posting you can recommend that walks someone thru what else I need and how to hook it up in a step by step way, I know I'm missing parts as my car didn't come with this unit, also if you know of another way to go I'm Open to try it. the FM modulator is not working well in the sound quality, Any Assistance would be grateful.

    Hi John,

I noticed you're in Yorkshire (I'm in Leeds) and you had commented on a forum topic of fixing a "hot air coming through air vents" type of question.

I have this issue and was wondering if you could recommend anyone locally (West or South Yorkshire ideally) with expertise to help?

    My situation:
-- very hot (not ambient) heat coming though all AC vents in car when on "Low" AC setting (and all other settings).
-- AC has been tested by specialist and its OK. Compressor OK. Gassed fully. No leaks.
-- Dual Controller Heating Valve has been replaced. No change to problem.
-- I suspect the CCM (NOT a sat nav version) has stopped working (based on various websites/forum messages).
-- Once removed from the car, I could send the CCM to ecusolutionswales.com to be fixed.

Do you know where I can get the CCM removed (and reinstalled) and the likely cost? Is this is a good plan of action? Thanks.

    Steve
