    I've replaced the rotors and pads. Relatively easy.

    I have not replaced the steering knuckles, which hold the front bearings and hubs. Many people replace the bearings, but few if any replace the steering knuckles. Most people remove the steering knuckle, press out the old bearing, press in a new bearing, and reinstall the steering knuckle with the new bearing. Is this what you're trying to do?

    Member of Jaguar lovers web site since 1969.
    Bought a new E Type Jag in 1969, sold it in 2010.
    Bought a 2002 X Type Jag 3.0 locally and like it very much. 68 k miles

    Bought a new Jaguar XJ6 ser.2 in 1978 which still looks like new and has no rust
    anywhere with all the functions. 130 k miles

    New Mexico ( NO Rust State )
    Sold a 1969 E Type Jag 2+2 had that car since new
