MarkyyDee, I ended up re-installing my OG water pump upon removal. I lubed the spindle with teflon spray and put it back in bc the Bosch water pump had small fins, 30% smaller than the stock WP. I live in AZ and the summers are brutal. Bigger fins push more water. I imagine that if you get a true OEM water pump the fins should be the larger size. The Bosch I bought was from Pep Boys and didn't claim to be OEM. Maybe go thru the dealer which I recall they wanted $140 or so for a WP. Try, or even Ebay for an OEM part. My issue was with the fin size. Good luck bro!

Hey im having a water pump issue and I remember on a post you said the BOCSH was a very inferior product. What would you recommend for someone who needs to replace the water pump in a 2005 x type

Well the bad news is the Arubas where just too expensive n I got some sc05 enkeei 18" there best I could find too my taste... Your car looks more of the stock sport look with those rims better than aftermarket... Yea, on Indian bend I would go Saturday nights a long time ago and it would be packed, maybe things have changed.. Lol wen I get rims I'm going to Cruz thru I'll let u know wen I go if wanna check my ride out n see if any more jags show up.... Yea I will totally call him wen I'm ready to lower it.

My rims are stock 17s and I really like the look of them. I thought about getting 18s but I'm pretty sure any after market rims would be heavier than my stock rims and I don't like the idea of adding weight to my car, lol. I talked to my mechanic about you possibly getting the same springs I have and needing them installed. His name is David and he said to give him a call when you're ready. He's doing the Mobile thing on the side these days. 520.272.7565. He lives in Tucson. Where in AZ do you live?

the Pavilions car show? Is that on Indian Bend and the 101? I did stumble upon a car show in the parking lot there a few weeks ago. I only saw one Jag tho. It was a 1960s F-Type or E-Type.

Nice, I'm in the process of getting the aruba 18's and want to lower my x on those rims and I'll be complete.. I like Ur rims too tho the thing is that they are so hard to find and when u do they are buko bucks. Do you ever go to the pavilions in Scottsdale when they do the car show? If you ever get to talk to him and if he's doing the Mobil Mechanic thing it would nice if u cud put in a word for me... Im sure he more affordable than the dealer.. Lol

Hi Esteban, my rims are indeed 17"s. My friend who did the lowering lives in Tucson and is an ASE certified mechanic. Auto repair is his sole job and he's very good at what he does. I haven't talked to him in a while but I believe he is working at a shop. If not, he is doing business as a 'Mobile Mechanic'.

Thanks for the compliments on my Jag! I like the way it came out, these cars look great lowered, but you need to get the right springs. I wouldn't buy into the "coil cutting" thing, just get a set of H&Rs, unless you're going to go big time and do the coil-over thing.

Hi I'm esteban I really like how your lowering kit made Ur x-type look. I was wondering if those rims are the 17" or 18" it looks really clean.. I was also wondering if your friend has a shop or does this on the side.. It's hard to find a good mechanic and he left Ur car looking really nice.
