Thanks, there is also a thread on Forums & Feedback regarding this subject by JigJag . One for I-Phone and another (mine) for Androids. At least three (3) different addresses so far. Still pops up on this site only.

Hi, I am a native of Summerville. I am currently in graduate school in Washington, DC. I have a 99 vanden plas there back home, which I would like to get some work done to it and bring it up for transportation. Would you happen to know a mechanic with good prices and experience? Maybe a mechanic who does side work so the prices won't be too high.

    Good afternoon Mr. Sklimii,
I hope this reaches you. I am trying for find out if you ever continued the conversation about Interchange parts. dated 9-9-16. It was reference springs and shocks.
It may be on the Forum. I'm just not that good of a navigator.
    Thanks in advance, Jerry

sklimii, thank you for your support in my "Gone away" thread. I appreciate it, I had no idea it would have received a negative comment and I WILL NOT respond to him.

I had been a member for a number of years. the other day I posted a few times, as a bit of humor, that some swap out their motors for a chevy V8. I get this terse response from norri threatening disciplinary action, to which I replied that I didn't realize that i'd violated any thought police rules, and that I guess the first rule was no humor. he said he didn't think it was funny in his humble opinion. I said nothing humble about his opinion. then he said he was suspending me for 3 days, not because I had again violated any rules or was abusive to him, he just didn't like my response. before he could initiate the suspension, I told him to go blank himself and he then banned me for "abusive language". technically the word blank is not abusive. guy was clearly abusing his power by suspending me in the first place. I wouldn't mind having my old handle back. please try to understand, this guy really pissed me off. my impression is guys like that are more about power trips than fairness.

Skimil, can you delete two sentences in dan02xk8 post, changed tensioners something is bad, post # 20. I say that I got timing cover gaskets at NAPA and cam cover gaskets. The timing cover gasket has a small difference that makes it unusable. And the cam cover gaskets work but don't include the VVT seals
Found this out yesterday when finishing my engine repairing project. I don't want somebody to purchase these items because they are not completely correct.
    Thank You, Bob
