    Hello Jon,
    Where would you recommend I start the new thread on converting our Jag XK140? In the Classic XK section? Or is there another section that might get broader visibility?

    I've done some research on Tri Y but it seems that this would be a plumbing nightmare for the straight six as I would have to connect cylinders 1 and 6 together !!! 2 & 5 and 3 & 4, I have plotted the straight 6 re H pipe, with some interesting thoughts, I will ping it to you over the weekend, it looks like the best plan is an H but offset slightly so one end is further downstream than the other because of the offset on the exhaust pulses. I don't think this occurs on the V8, but I will plot it out too and see what happens.

    Knowledge is power. I enjoy the input. Wish I had done a little more research prior to using the 2.5" "H".
    Have you searched the entire forum for just the word "tri Y"? Cheers!
