Door locks
Does anyone know of a UK based company who could repair or replace the barrels for both front doors locks.

Any competent locksmith should be able to repair or reconfigure the door lock barrels. They are very simple.
New ones are available as part of a set from Barratt's. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...c9406136ec.jpg |

I got this set, interestingly the boot lock does not fit in my case, door barrels are ok, I don't know about the Ignition as I fitted an ignition with an ACC position, the glove box lock was slightly bigger and damaged the lacquer when I changed it so I have to now deal with that !
The door locks are easy enough to change, you need to take the wooden door cappings off and remove the door card to get access, but you can change them without removing the door handles. |
Thanks for your help.

I just selected the best I had from about 3 sets. Took them to a local locksmith with the key I wanted them unified to. He opened them up & fully serviced. Sorted all the tumblers for the key I wanted for doors, glove box & boot. Fetched them 2 hours later. Buffed the stainless keyhole faces & fitted. All work perfectly.

I got s set like this from Moss. I had difficulty disassembling the boot lock hardware but replaced all the others relatively easily. I am not a locksmith, just a bloke with a greasy thumb. I think OP can figure it out ;) |
