Jaguar Mk1 Parts/Sale Required
Hi
I am interested in anyone from the UK or worldwide who is interested in selling a Mk1 Jaguar or any parts they would like to part with.
I would also appreciate anyone passing my comments onto anyone they know who would like to sell anything relating to a Mk1.
Currently building a car, so am in need of most parts.
Thanks
Glenn

I know of a LHD 1958 MK-1 body shell, (yes the spats are included), but no chrome, and interior is shot as well as the steering wheel. Body panels appear to be usable. automatic transmission. Engine is shot too.
it would be major logistics headache to ship the car to UK, but if you have the money, anything is possible.
I also know of a completely restored 1957 MK-1 but the owner wants $45 thousand dollars.

It just comes down what the owner would want for the car.
I lot of the good parts seem to be missing, though I can see a few chrome bits in the boot.
It would also depend what comes with the car....like chrome really.
Thank you for your help.

Yes they are.
Doors are much more difficult to source and costly, but the weight saved is worth it.

I just bought a '59, may be willing to part with some stuff if it goes the direction I think it will. It's pretty much complete (missing rear window trim, 1/2 of the windscreen trim) but everything else is there. I'm leaning towards doing a full chopped 2-door hardtop custom with it, so pretty much all the chrome and wood trim will be available. With the price of reveneering the wood and replacing the entire fabric set, it's not economically viable to restore a MK1 that's worth maybe 26-27k that's not in driving shape to begin with.

That is quite some collection of bits you got there. I'm sure you've got enough to make a good start anyway. Is that the wife coming out to say 'whats all this doing on my porch!'
My race car has been a slow process, but is coming along now.

You are a very lucky boy having all those to yourself. Those shells look in a nice dry condition with all the difficult to find chrome bits available. Very nice......

The group N race looks like a really nice example. Love the colours. I also see a Go Pro in the window and wonder if he puts it on YouTube? Wouldn't mind a look at that.

We cut the tunnel out intentionally so if we get a gearbox problem, we can get access without having to drop the whole thing.
It has a bespoke cover made in leather which looks brilliant.
