MK II rescued from the scrap yard
Purists might have a conniption when they get a look at all the American bits that went into saving this old Jag — but I think it's amazing. And it seems like a steal for 17k. Check out the story on this gorgeous machine here!

The only thing that I don't like about it, is the colour of the red vinyl, it makes me think of red liquorice.
I would have preferred an ivory interior. Red on red is just a bit too much. |
This is the most tempting car I've seen on BaT in so long... Just gorgeous...

Very nicely done. Engine looks like it fits better than the original |
You have done a great job, it is a nice car

It's another one saved. The owner can do what they like. I really like that exterior color. It looks good on that car.

This car is legendary. Toyota Mark II is one of my favorite Japanese cars, after Nissan Fairlady. I also had one of these, it was in a bad condition because it is an old car, but I thought that I will be able to restore it. It was very hard to find the necessary details of the bodywork, and usually when I was finding something I needed it was very expensive. This is why I started to doubt if it is worth it, so I decided to sell it for scrap, at least to cover some of the expenses I had because I knew that none would buy this car from me and it was the best solution.
