I have fitted front seats from a Daimler XJ into my 67 Jag mk2.
The beauty is that the later Daimler seat still has the picnic table.
These also are adjustable electrically, and have better side support.
They cost me a few hundred dollars - much cheaper than recovering.
I had them recolored from grey to Blue, and had to have a small modification made to the mounting points. Also wiring in the electrics. Nothing major at the end of the day.
I am very happy with the change.
