Default 1st time (and proud!) Jaguar owner.

I have a 2000 S-type that is just rolling over 100,000. Just had secondary tensioners replaced but show used 2nd gen parts that are now going bad. I have purchased 3rd gen parts and want to do the replacement myself, along with checking the chains for wear. Any help is very greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum,

Doing the tensioners once is bad enough but having to redo them is a real pain. Hope the replacement goes OK.

Welcome mommasjag.

You will have better responses to any technical questions in the S Type section of this forum. Also besure to read the FAQ's in the S Type Section as well, a real wealth of knowledge found in that thread.

Enjoy all the site has to offer!

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
Not good with the tensioners, but at least you are pro active.

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
