2011 Jaguar XF premium question
I am a new member to the forum, as I recently purchased a 2011 jaguar XF premium from an auto auction that was in a rear end accident that was partially repaired. The car is in good driving condition with only 28,000 miles on it however the navigation display and radio do not work as there is a break in the fiber optic line somewhere per a European auto mechanic I am not familiar with the components that are in the Jaguar XF premium and their location. I have found in the left-hand side of the trunk a fiber optic plug that has a yellow tag on it with MMM/amplifier along with other plugs that do not have a component to plug into. The optic plug for the MMM/amplifier has a red light in it and so I have ordered a used amplifier to fit the car hoping that this solves the radio and display problem as the display just keeps resetting itself with the initial jaguar logo. I am trying to determine what the extra plugs are for and have attached a picture of them if anyone could help or have experienced similar issues.

I also have no answer. I am still a "Red to Red, Black to Black, flick the switch and stand right back" type of age group. |
