50 year dream
At 6 years old my uncle had taught me to recognize every car there was. My favorites were Jags, rare in those days. At 13 y.o. I vowed to have one. It took me 50 years to get around to it but I persevered.
Greetings from sunny Florida. |
Congratulations on realizing your dream! What did you get?

Thanks, all, especially about my sig.
I've been on many forums over the years: Dodge Daytona, Probe GT, Jeep Commando, Grand Wagoneer, Pontiac Fiero. Most were bought for under a grand, all produced car show trophies before I went to a new 'project'. The XJ was/is not a project. I watched it for a few years before it came on the market, and had to buy an Eldorado in the same deal to get it. Both dealer maintained, white over tan. Loved them both, but gave the Eldorado to my sister. I have only had to do normal maintenance till I blew a coolant hose last week. That will be a new learning experience, I'm replacing the whole lot. Thanks, again. I'll mostly be lurking, but will put in my two cents (pence?) on occasion |
