96 xj6 not sure why yet
So i live in coastal NC, am a General Contractor of 35 years, single Dad to 2 teen girls, and buy older, fun cars, my first jag though, a 1996 xj6 in very nice condition, a few bugs and cosmetic things but all in all a nice, clean car. i have The Black Sheep (2015 HSE RR ) which has given me enough callouses to handle yet another British car. AA meetings are helping with that particular choice of SUV ....yet i remain fascinated by the British mindset, or appalled. Cant figure out which.
So here i am, armed with a keyboard and a nice set of Metric tools, one bored dog and a fridge full of beer. lets see how much trouble i can get into......cheers |
Hello, Juan,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar! I say First because, Once you have one, you won't be able to be without one. LOL Welcome to the forums from ElinorB. (';') |
Welcome to the forums juanmoretaco,
An X300 was a good choice for a first Jaguar. This model has the reputation of being one of the most robust and reliable. When you're ready for a real challenge, go for a neglected XJS. :icon_lol: I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region. Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started. Enjoy the forums. Graham |
