ACM Unit / CDC Problem

Can anybody help me with a little problem I have with my Audio Control Unit / CDC button.

I had my IPOD connected to the ACM and all was working perfectly and had to disconnect mid song. Since then the CDC button does not respond and the IPOD no longer charges when connected. This happened once before and it suddenly started working a few days later. Is there anything I can do to fix this and does anybody know why it happened?

Many thanks

I've had that happen before. You'll dealing with two computers there and sometimes, they need to re-boot.

Take out the fuse for the ACM for about a minute and put it back again. Plug your ipod back in and wait. Check it a couple of times a day and see if it's on yet. It might take a 2 or 3 days, but it should come back on.

The ACM has a reset button, might be worth trying that before going to the effort of killing the power. It's one of those you need a paperclip or summat to press.

The ACM unit started working normally 24 hours after the original glitch. Sort of re-booted itself without me doing anything. All good.
