Back after a break 96 XK8 LPG converted
I did have a Mcleod X-pipe fitted but that disintegrated after 5yrs and have replaced with a lifetime gauranteed staight through system for a mere £299/$460
Non standard spec of my car is:
a) Tensioners replaced with latest ones
b) Bushes replaced with polybush
c) New performance exhaust by Longlife, one of the only exhaust people that offers a lifetime/transferrable warranty
d) EBC brake pads & discs along with stainless steel brake lines
e) New Shocks and Springs, the latter being 2005 issue so lower
f) New style water pump and alloy thermostat housing
g) Original OEM Xenon lights supplied by Jaguar & retrofitted
h) Complete custom leather retrim, tastefully done I think
i) 11 speaker Infinity Kappa system inc subwoofer and 6 CD autochanger
j) Smartnav with touchscreen & real-time with a personal journey planner (Jaguar ended software in 2001)
k) Carbon dynamics air intake that feeds from the front wing
l) Later style 'jewelled' rear light cluster
m) Chrome boot plinth with working boot release with push button
n) LED 'lit' reflectors and indicators
o) Reversing sensors
p) New (2012) battery.
q) Professionally done complete strip and repaint in original colour without rubbing strips
r) front and rear mud-flaps
s) Double 5 alloys (the most sought after) supplied on Conti sport winter tyres so can be driven away in snow!
t) LED interior lighting kit
u) Later 02+ rear badges and custom made rear number plate
v) hardwired speed camera/lazer detector
w) Aux power in the glovebox
x) quality chrome rings/vent covers and gear lever surround
y) Nardi chrome gear knob
z) Amazing chrome front grill with leaping cat
Oh and it's LPG converted so can do 350 miles on a £40 fill up of gas, since have the original fuel tank this means 1000 miles of driving is possible without stopping (my bladder however cannot manage this!)
I look forward to offering any help I can and getting the same from you guys n galz

Welcome to this friendly Forum, Mark.
Don't bring the car over here or the Gendarmes will take it away - they get very excited about laser detectors!
