Bought me a XK8 Convertible
 

Hi, I am a new Jaguar owner as from today, just bought me a XK8 convertible 1997.

I am looking forward to enjoying this car, and really hope for good weather.

I think it is Ivory.

To be certain, check the Trim Code (arrowed in red in the photo) on the Manufacturer's label on the LH door pillar:

The 3-letter code gives the exact colour. This is NED (Ivory) from my 2005 XK8. If your code is different, post it back here and I'll look up the colour for you.

Beautiful Jaguar. Be sure and read all the sticky's on the XK8/XKR section of the forum.
Every time I see a beautiful car parked on a pier I always think of this:

Hi Fulton, please don't visualize my car being washed that way ;).

BTW, I hear some knocking noises in front of my car, might be the lower ball joint and/or the lover shock bushings. Hear it when hitting small bumps in the road. What do you think?

While you are checking for the source of the clunk, check the upper shock mounts, those are a common failure.
