Essex Boy matures?
Timeline:
British racing green Rover 2000tc K reg....in the 70's when all the others had Capris!
Company cars.
Marriage.
New:
318is 1993 K
320 Conv 1995 M
523 ise 1996 P
Thousands in depreciation!
Divorce
A4 Second-hand 2000-2005
A8 " 2005 - 2012
Thousands in someone else's depreciation!
May 2012.....
After months of searching, my "Jaguar at last" was found/purchased.
Like the proverbial kid in the sweet/toy shop!
As fantastic as the A8 was, why did I not do this sooner?
3.0 Auto. Sea frost green. Interior is bitter chocolate brown and beige leather (although it looks practically biscuit colour, in reality)
Mint inside and out. Rear seats never sat on! 60k on a 2000 x! FJSH.
I need to replace the chipped marker lens on the front bumper.
Can anyone advise where I can buy the smoked lenses to replace the ambers? Adamesh supplied the smoked side repeaters but do not supply the bumper lenses?

Best of all? My 12 y-o son & 14 y-o daughter LOVE it and even their friends said
"Your dad's car is cool!"

No...not too sensible yet...but I have actually invested in seat cover for driver's seat as I use the car for work...short journeys - in and out of car a good deal and that didn't do the A8 seat any good over time!
