Default Greetings From an XJL Shopper!

Hey folks,

Aldwyn here, from Columbia, Md.

Lease on my 2011 Lexus ES350 is coming up in Jan, so been shopping for a new or gently pre-owned car.

Have owned many nice cars in the past, with the 2008 BMW 328xi being one of my favs.

This time around, I wanted something that handled well (like the Bimmah), but still had a nice drive (like the Lexus).

Went to the local Jag dealer (I am lucky to have 4 within an hours drive) to drive an XF, but the sales guy said "Take a spin in this 2011 XJL first". Big mistake... it really took away from the XF, and I was no longer interested in it. Rather, I became a little obsessed with the XJL.

So I have been shopping the XJLs, and have been having a hard time finding the right color combos (cant stand London Tan or Blue interior!).

I am no stranger to Brit cars, either way, as I own a nice little 1976 Triumph TR6.

- Aldwyn

Welcome, I've considered upgrading to a newer Jaguar and figured an XF would be a good one to go for, but I'm afraid that I'd miss the cushy ride of my '03 XJ8. So, I will probably wait another year and get a used XJ in the 2011 or 2012 MY. BTW I love the london tan and blue interior! To each their own.
