Welcome to the forums zadeb,

Good to have you with us. Mileage is not an issue provided the vehicle is regularly and correctly maintained and it certainly appears to have have had careful owner(s).

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-western-38/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new XKR!!
192,000 miles seems like a lot, but not for a Modern Engine that has been properly maintained.
It's past its prime, but you should Easily get another 100k with proper care and feeding.
The things that usually go wrong are the Human Interface bits; seats, buttons, levers, dials and stuff, or owners get bored with the car.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
