Hello from Canada (sort of)

Hi there, I don't own a Jag yet, but I intend to buy one when I get home this summer.

I have my eyes on an XJS (4L V6)

I have a history of shockingly boring cars and after watching far too much Top Gear I want something a little more exciting.

I'll be pestering the guys in the XJS sub forum with my inane questions after some more research.

Thanks for having me!

Howdy Flanker

If you're headed into the Jag world, your days of boring cars are over. Welcome to the forum!

Yes, I agree...welcome to the world of excitement!

All the Best,

Thanks guys.

My 89 Cavalier and 99 Intrepid weren't exactly head turners. Although the Intrepid was a former police car, the handling and braking were amazing.

Boring...a word you will never use. Welcome.

Hamilton you say?

Very close to Toronto...lots of Jaguar activities you can enjoy in the "Golden Horshoe".
Keep up to date with the "any Toronto Jag meets" thread.
Are you by chance currently in service overseas?

Cheers and welcome,

JustV12.

Yeah I noticed the Toronto thread. And yes, I am currently wasting your tax dollars!

Welcome, James May drove an old XJS one of episodes in Top Gear . He said a proper XJS with all the crappy sensors gone and replaced by decent upgrades costing more than 30K Sterling which is a lot .

Yes, I caught that bit. If anything it only taught me that there's still lots of technical support and performance parts available for the XJS. And that they're cool cars.

Welcome Flanker, I hope that you get the car that you want. Loads of great info in the XJS section.

Stay safe.
