Hello & Happy to Have Found You!

Hello, Recently purchased a 2000 XK8 with 72K miles. Promptly took it to the shop to have the tensioners done (good thing, as they were cracking) radiator hoses replaced, new plugs, O/F, and some other bits and pieces. Picking it up tomorrow and I'm totally excited! My model has the nav and I can't believe how great it looks in the burled dashboard. Now to learn my way around the controls! Already posted a question about cleaning the seats, and got a kind reply. Thanks! Looking forward to learning more from you all. Cheers from Seattle!

Welcome aboard!

I too am from the Seattle area, Snohomish to be exact. Did you pick up the black one from the car store in Everett?

I did indeed! Can't wait to play with it at the Tulip Rallye. If you're going, stop by and say hello - you'll recognize my car! Cheers!

SeattleSun,

That's funny that I even knew the one you bought! I've been looking for at least three months and had toyed with going to look at that very one several times, but my practical side won out as I need a sedan (saloon) for work / family so I had to rule out the coupe. The pics of it looked great, I hope the real deal was every bit as good as the pics!

I don't know about the tulip rallye... but congratulations on the new ride.
