Hello from Rhode Island
New member here, just bought a 2003 X-Type with an electrical issue - LOL.
I don't mess with cars much - I greatly prefer motorbikes, but as I get older, I have discovered I have a preference for being warm and dry. In a previous life I was a journeyman motorcycle mechanic (in Canada, of all places...) I now spend my days working on computers. Not much of a transition, really, I find the same troubleshooting principals apply. I was initially hesitant to buy a Jag from the Ford years, but Jeremy Clarkson summed it up nicely -- "Genetically, you are 98 percent identical to a Halibut, but it's the two percent that makes the difference." Look forward to meeting you all. Judas |

Welcome to the forums Judas, Good to have you with us. I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
