Just thought I'd drop by and say 'how do', I've just become the proud(?) owner of a Jaguar XJ40 2.9 which cost all of £200!
I know just the images are in peoples heads right now as to the state of this car, but it ain't too bad. Just a couple of bits of welding, brake pads & rear door handles should see it through another MoT. All the electrics work O.K. & the car has been upgraded to leather interior :D
There's a few cosmetic issues need to be sorted including a full respray which I shall be doing in black (haven't decided precisely what shade, plain/met yet...) If I decide to keep the car.
