Default Hi from a happy Jaguar owner

After many years of dreaming about it, my dream finally came true!

Hi fellow Jag lovers, my name is Tamra J, and me and my ride live in beautiful Helena, Montana. I had never actually been inside a Jaguar, but for three decades have told my family that a Jaguar was going to be my retirement car. Retired from the military, but not quite from my civilian job at the VA, I bought a 2004 X-Type 3.0 Jaguar about a month ago in South Carolina. My husband and I had a wonderful road trip driving it back to Montana. Performance was better than I could have ever imagined, and anticipate being a Jaguar owner the rest of my life!

Hello, Tamra from a former Montanan living in California.
I spent several winters in Helena as a child when my father served in the Legislature.

Welcome from ElinorB.

Elinor, Have you been back to Montana since you were a kid? A Jaguar is an awesome ride through the mountain roads.

Yes, Tammy, thank you for asking. Since I left I visit once a year, in January for at least 3 reasons:

1) My work is very slow in January so I can take a week off with no ill effects on the bank balance,

2) I get my Winter fix and hours below freezing so I can flourish in the sunny, warm climate of California,

3) To remind myself why I left.

I don't drive though, as I only take a week, and driving in January in Montana can be foolhardy sometimes. I fly and depend on family to loan me a car if I need one.
