Default hi my names Jasmine23

my car is a 2005 s type jaguar 3.0 v6 automatic petrol.
ive recently replaced the park brake module on my car as I was told it was faulty but upon fitting the new one the cruise unavailable fault has gone and it now reads apply park brake and footbrake but when I do that nothing changes and the fault stays on the screen, ive checked the motor which seems to work when I place 2 wires onto the battery terminals and I can hear the motor working but im now confused as to why it still wont work, also ive tried the reset operation but again nothing, please help

Hello, Jasmine,
Someone will be along soon to direct you to our very active S-type section where you can find help for that problem, and any others you might encounter.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Jasmine23,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I know you've found your way to the S-Type forum with this questions so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. I've removed the similar post you made in XK/XKR forum.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
