Hi, New Member from So Cal
I'm so glad to be a part of your forum!
I've got a 2003 X-type 2.5 that I bought after seeing the car online. The car was 150 miles from here but we were going there anyhow that same day for my son's birthday. What a "coincidence". It had 17,000+ miles and was in great condition. I wasn't real serious about getting a Jag but had been dreaming for awhile. I couldn't believe it when my wife looked at it and said she thought we should buy it.
I've done most of my own maintenance for 50 years, but some things just stump me and I don't know a lot about Jags. I recently changed the spark plugs on my X-type at just over 100,000 miles and it was sort of fun, but I never imagined there would be so many steps to just getting at the plugs.
I'm a retured Manufacturing Engineer and I've always liked getting my hands dirty fixing things. Maybe you guys - or gals - can help me a little when I'm stumped again.
Take care.
Bob

Welcome to this friendly Forum, Bob and thanks for the interesting intro.
I must admit there are times when I wish the engine layout was more like my old Vitesse!
Follow Graham's good advice and enjoy your membership.
