Default Introduction!

Hello everyone I have owned my Jaguar since I was 17 (18 now) bought and paid for with my own money (Clean hands, Clean Money). Although when I purchased this car it had a few problems that needed addressing before finding much more smaller problems!

When first bought I had to replace Fuel Pump and Ignition Coils #2,4 Bank 2

After getting it running I found that traction control light blinks non stop but I can activate and deactivate it without any problems. Also another problem I that was very avoidable I didn't look close enough into, Navigation... I believe the mentally incapable guy took out the cassette box and put in a what looks to be navigation but when I take out the screen.... Nothing is plugged in just a bunch of un-connected wires. Last problem with the car which is minor to me is that the front bumper is cracked. No big deal though!

I find I did alright considering I bought this car for a very cheap price and its a 2002 Jaguar S-type 4.0 V8 Ill post pictures of the broken beast and hopefully one day in the future have it looking good again!

Looking forward to being apart of these forums

Welcome to the forum AJS57,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I presume you've followed where I moved your first post to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
