Default Jaguar XF Subwoofer Fuse

My Jaguar XF 2011 was unfortunately delivered without the subwoofer that my previous XF 2009 had in the boot (and also no spare tire wheel is there!). I have therefore purchased an original Jaguar subwoofer box and connected it to the plug that already was there on the right side of the boot. But no sound will be heard. Maybe it is as simple as the fuse that controls this subwoofer is not fitted in the fuse box? And if that is the case, which fuse can it be?

Welcome to the forum uffepuffe7579,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I think you will find there is an additional power amplifier in models fitted with the subwoofer (on the Premuim Sound System) so there is more to it than plugging in the additional speaker.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.
