Thank you
Thanks for the instructions.
I am not sure I fully understood the requirements to be accepted but will try to create a thread as I am just about to trash my X-type 2005 3.0 as it stopped working without a reason. Hopefully someone will be able to help me out. Enjoy, Albert |
Welcome to the forums Albert,
I've copied your post from the end of my "guidance thread" as you were unsure how to start a new thread here. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/ to find other members in your region. Enjoy the forums. Graham |
Hello, Albert,
I'm sorry your X-type is giving you so much trouble. "Stopped working without reason" is a bit broad, however, so you might want to be a bit more specific over in our X-type section. Welcome to the forums from ElinorB. (';') |

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB. (';') Thank for replying. I used it on a very hot day in August here in Houston 45 Celsius. Had it park outside while working. Got back home and parked it. Then three days later it would not start. Al wipers, lights and radio are working. The battery is new. Code reader sends out P1638. Got another used engine computer and it's still not working. Kind regards, Albert |
