Im looking for a member in east/middle tennessee that i could be friends with. lol
Im in the process of swaping out a bad aj27 engine for a used aj26 in my 2002 xj8.
Ive got a few parts to order like timing tensioners and guides and swap front cover and thinking about eliminating the v v t like the xjr engines run. Im sure it will throw a code but im interested if it will cause the dreaded limp mode / fail safe???

need the crank pully puller and cam locking tool and crank pin etc...
