Just a new member

Hey, just signed up so I thought I would stop by and introduce my self. I am a 1999 XJ8 Van Den Plas owner. So the story behind the car goes like this. In 2000 my grandfather bought the car for himself. He had never owned a flashy car or even a nice car for that matter, but at 72 he decided it was time to treat himself to something nice. Ever since he got it I had had my eyes on it. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. Well when he passed away a few years back he left it to me!!!!!! I know awesome right, well I drove it for 3 years took care of it religiously. But about 6 months ago it came down with a electrical bug, and I have not been able to find anyone who can fix it. So here I am trying to find some answers so that I can get her back on the road! I made the rookie mistake of posting my questions before I introduced myself, so I apologize for that. Who can blame someone for being excited about their jaguar!!

Cheers!!!
Jim

Hello Jim and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
