Long time Jag lover, first time owner!
Morning - my name is Jonathan and I have an addiction to the unorthodox vehicle choice when I buy a new car. Was in the market for a compact to mid-size luxury sport sedan and the XE was the obvious choice after driving the 35t and comparing it to the raft of ordinary (BMW 3 series, A3 and A4, Alfa, etc.). You'll see from my car choices below I go for the dark corners of the market.
The car was a service loaner at the local JLR store so I got it with 6200 miles on it and most of the warranty (original service date was 11/28/17). I think since it was a Prestige with some options it didn't sell so the dealer put it in the service fleet. Came out of the service fleet in November 2018 so they were ready to move it.
The XE has been on my radar since they came out but I just recently decided I was willing to move on from the third pedal which opened up my option set. Had I not found one with the V6 I probably would have kept hunting and kept my old car, but with the V6 it hit all my wants. I'm coming out of something a bit bigger and more powerful but love the smaller feel of the XE which is what I wanted. More maneuverable and playful. Have lots to learn about the car and the name so looking forward to wasting more time than I should on here with you folks.
Previous car history: 2017 Chevy SS, 2015 Chevy SS, 2014 Ford Focus ST, 2011 Audi A3, 2008 VW GTI, 2005 Honda Accord (wow, that was a mistake), 2001 VW Golf...

Welcome to the forum Jonathan,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I had an XE loaner from my JLR Dealer for three weeks recently and was pleasantly surprised.
