Default My name is Senti from Melbourne, Australia. Jag XF 2.0 Petrol 2013 (4 cylinder)

Hi Members,
My name is Senti from Melbourne, Australia. I bought a Jaguar XF 2.0 Petrol 2013 (4 cylinder) model 2 years back. This is my first Jaguar. Enjoyed the ride of the car for the last 2 years. Now car got Misfire in cylinder 1 and changed all 4 plugs and 1st ignition coil and no luck and getting vibration. Since this is a turbo engine its difficult to find out the throttle position and I want to know which side the throttle is placed. I appreciate any photos or maps/work shop guide from you. Also I want to know that any of you removed FUEL INJECTOR for this model and I suspect a block in the 1st fuel injector/short circuit. All the OBD2 scan with Torque pro software clearly counting number of miss fires in 1st cylinder. If any of you have work shop manuel, could you please send the right pages to remove fuel injector step by step. Too many wires and tubes on top of the fuel injection compartment. If this XF similar to other model, could you please send the relevant pages of the model or guidance.

Thank you in advance .
SENTI

Welcome to the Forums.

Not familiar with that engine at all. My "late" stuff gets a dose of Injector Cleaner 3 times a year, maybe the answer, no issues on any of them to date.

The members in the XF (X250) Tech Section will know.

I suggest a code read, and post the actual codes, and the same members will decipher them to Jag talk for you.

Good luck

Welcome to the forums Senti,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already posted this same question in the X250 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. Throwing parts at a Jaguar soon becomes a very expensive way of troubleshooting. As Grant has already suggested - read the codes and post the codes for help and advice.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Australia - Victoria / Tasmania Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...a-tasmania-94/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
