Default New car, new member

Hey folks, skraat here. Just got my first Jaguaaaaar the other day (never thought I would say that) and it is sitting in the garage until I can get to the DMV and transfer the title lol. It's a 1994 xj6. Seems to be in good shape, a few minor things that don't bother me much. The car has alot of miles (200K) but seemed to drive home with no problem, in fact it was driven to my town from 300 miles away just before I got it. Have service records, and a reconstructed title.. a ding in the drivers side door led the insurance company to total it. With this many miles on the clock, I'm curious about what I should look out for as far as trouble. Oil pressure is good, stays cool, every single electrical component works! Was clearly very well kept by the 80+ year old lady who sold it to me. I would like to avoid trouble, fix it BEFORE it breaks lol.

Welcome to the forums sKraat,

I see a lot of Intro's and that's the first time I've ever read that claim by a newbie. Enjoy the moment.

Welcome to the Forums.

Yep, hear something ODD, fix it NOW, not later.

Other than that, CLEAN air, fuel, oil, it will go 500k without issues.

Good luck.

Hello,
When I got my Jag in 2013, it has Several problems, but the clock did work flawlessly.
Hmm. I'd never had one that did before, and it still does!
